Creating a website is the single best way to communicate with your students and create a professional image. You may think that it is expensive and requires a college degree in computer science to accomplish this but that is no longer the case. You can, of course, spend lots of money and make it very fancy and sophisticated. This article describes a few ways to make free (yes, free, as in no cost) easy websites.

Yahoo and Google provide free websites with easy to use software to design the site. The drawback to this is that you don't get your own domain.

My Googlepage site is http://andrewbartelt.googlepages.com/

My Yahoo site is http://www.yahoo.com/abartelt.

If you want your own domain name (like www.yoga.com) then www.doteasy.com will host it for free. You'll still need to register the domain name which is about $20 per year and you'll have to design the web page.
