The Yoga Teachers Association of Houston is providing a Free Day of Yoga on Labor Day, September 1, 2008 throughout the Greater Houston area! Free yoga classes happen throughout the day in many locations.

Submit a class

Your willingness to give your time and energy to this citywide practice will make this year's "Free Day of Yoga" a success. Here's how you can help.

Submit a CLass: Post your classes as soon as possible on the website schedule. Download the flyers below to promote your classes.

If you are not a member of the Yoga Association, now is the time to join. Membership is only $35 for teachers; $50 for studios. This year, you do not have to be a member to offer a Free Day class.

Sponsors

Financial support for Free Day will help us promote the classes and get the highest possible attendance. YTAH will list you as a sponsor with a minimum $50 donation from businesses; $25 donation from teachers.

Volunteers

We always need volunteers to help with organizing and promoting Free Day. Please contact Sharon Hughes sharon@stillnessandflowyoga.com to volunteer.

Students

This day will give people a chance to try yoga, meet instructors, and experience different styles of yoga. The free classes are offered in order to bring more awareness of yoga to the community. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced practitioner, there are classes for you. Take one or several classes on the Free Day of Yoga and discover the variety of styles and teachers in the Houston area.
